Taboule is a salad appetizer.
4 bunches of finely chopped parsley.
1 bunch of fresh green mint finely chopped.
1 Persian cucumber finely chopped.
5 medium sized tomatoes chopped.
1 small white onion, finely chopped.
1/4 cup bulgur.
1/2 cup olive oil.
1/2 cup of lemon juice freshly squeezed
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
Ingredients:
Preparation:
. Wash all vegetables and dry, especially the parsley and mint.
. Finely chop the parsley, mint, tomatoes, cucumber and onion.
. Put the ingredients side by side in a deep platter and put in the fridge.
When ready to serve, add the lemon juice,bulgur, olive oil and salt and mix lightly with a fork.
Can serve on top of lettuce leaves on a platter.
