Learn to make Kibe of potatoes as a professional. This recipe is a version of traditional and authentic Lebanese kibbeh.
Ingredients:
- 1kg of potatoes.
- 1/2kg thin wheat (Bulgur)
- 1 small white onion
- 20 green leaves of mint
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper (to taste, optional)
- 2/3 teaspoon of salt (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
- 1 tablespoon of cumin.
- Olive oil
Preparation:
- First wash the potatoes well, then place in a saucepan with water, and cook over medium heat for 40 minutes (or until cooked ). Put aside to cool.
- Place the bulgur in a small bowl and wash it with cold water, then squeeze it to get rid of as much water as possible. Put it aside.
- Place the mint, onion, salt, cinnamon, cumin and pepper and 1/2cup of wheat in a food processor and mix well. (Seasoning)
- Peel the potatoes and ground(knead) in a bowl
- Add the wheat(Bulgur) and seasoning, mix well with your hands for a few minutes to make sure that all the ingredients and infused.
- Put the Kibbe in a plate
- Add olive oil in it.
- Serve with optional side, including: mint, green pepper, green onion, white onion
