Kibbe of Potatoes

Learn to make Kibe of potatoes as a professional. This recipe is a version of traditional and authentic Lebanese kibbeh.
 

Ingredients:

  • 1kg of potatoes.
  • 1/2kg thin wheat (Bulgur)
  • 1 small white onion
  • 20 green leaves of mint
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper (to taste, optional)
  • 2/3 teaspoon of salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin.
  • Olive oil

Preparation:

  1. First wash the potatoes well, then place in a saucepan with water, and cook over medium heat for 40 minutes (or until cooked ). Put aside to cool.
  2. Place the bulgur in a small bowl and wash it with cold water, then squeeze it to get rid of as much water as possible. Put it aside.
  3. Place the mint, onion, salt, cinnamon, cumin and pepper and 1/2cup of wheat in a food processor and mix well. (Seasoning)
  4. Peel the potatoes and ground(knead) in a bowl 
  5. Add the wheat(Bulgur) and seasoning, mix well with your hands for a few minutes to make sure that all the ingredients and infused.
  6. Put the Kibbe in a plate 
  7. Add olive oil in it.
  8. Serve with optional side, including: mint, green pepper, green onion, white onion
