Mujadara of Bulgur,Lebanese dish, healthy and easy to make.
Ingredients:
Preparation:
First peel and chop the onions into smaal pieces and fry in1/2 cup of vegetable oil until dark brown.
- wash the lentils in cold water.
- Put the lentils in a saucepan and add 4 to 5 cups of water,boil on médium heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- Add the Bulgur,fried onions and salt to the pan and stir well.You may need to add more water,if too much water had evaporated.Cover and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
- When the Bulgur fully cooked,mix well and put in serving dish.
- Serve cold with a side optional:yogurt and salad.
