TABOULE

Taboule is a salad appetizer.


Ingredients:                             



  • 4 bunches of finely chopped parsley.
  • 1 bunch of fresh green mint finely chopped.
  • 1 Persian cucumber finely chopped.
  • 5 medium sized tomatoes chopped.
  • 1 small white onion, finely chopped.
  • 1/4 cup bulgur.
  • 1/2 cup olive oil.
  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste) 

  • Preparation:

    . Wash all vegetables and dry, especially the parsley and mint.
    . Finely chop the parsley, mint, tomatoes, cucumber and onion.
    . Put the ingredients side by side in a deep platter and put in the fridge.
    When ready to serve, add the lemon juice,bulgur, olive oil and salt and mix lightly with a fork.
    Can serve on top of lettuce leaves on a platter.
